| CO | sanne rasmussen, Denmark | 1/28/2009 1:46:36 PM | Why so angry asking for silence! I wish I know what it happened that this woman (or man) became so angry and shouted for silence! Is it a cry for freedom before her/his? Is it a cry for justice? Is it just because he/she is afraid for another opinion? The face of this silence is like “shut up” (hold din kæft). Is this picture showing my face when I am angry at my friends? Is this picture showing me as offer when somebody does not like my opinion and wants to make me silence? Many things I can imagine right now! The picture is powerful and makes me standing silence…. Sanne | |

| 7/5/2007 6:56:26 AM | Very symbolic and expressive. You use your camera very well. This is by far the most powerful inage you have created. The viewer gets to decide what demons the image will prevoke. You could add a color like you have done in many of your works to evoke a particular emotional path; perhaps royal blue of tears coming from the eyes for a cooler emotion or red from the finger or teeth--to emote power or danger. However this would limit the defination of the response, so the dark image you have presented here gives the most latitude to the soul searching emotions the images prevokes. I am probably colored in my opinions of this image probably because it comes out of Iran. Maybe this is the emotion of the people screaming out for what?....help? Maybe. Or maybe it is a warning that there is a power in the dark, that I have teeth!! A Warning? Beware? !! I hope this is not the last scream from the dark?! Anyway you have succeeded magnificantly here!!! Sel--PCOM Highest Impact Photo of the Month. Regards Dan | |

I know Maxime from another photo Site! As he said self he is a “gypsy with a knapsack”! He’ll back I’m sure! The truth is that PP is too slow in Tehran. It takes me 3-4 days (over 40-50 hours) to arrange just once showing my respond and respect to each photographer who did send me a comment. If I am still posting pictures and comments because I really love this friendly (but also professional) attitude and atmosphere in PP. Well I have my job and also family duty, so it is impossible to do so all the time. I hope the condition will get better soon. I wish you a lovely day my dear Hesham Regards: Fatemeh | |

| 7/4/2007 1:12:33 PM | Thanks a lot my dear for you could anyway manage posting your image in the right time, so I might show my expression…. As usual I adore your style mostly because you talk through each of your image, describing the society in which you live and at the same time you have a general message that we may possibly see everyway... I do well remember such an antagonistic face, but what mostly makes an impression here is your provocative technique… To me the picture is obviously recounting breaking law (here the silence) in an uppermost process (shouting) for making attention the others being quiet (following the symbol of silence) and probably from a person who is the part of authority somehow, who has the courage and the power to command the others and breaks the silence (the law) so loud! My highest compliment as usual dear Sel < Fav & PCOM (highest impact) Sincerely: Maxime | |
